Intakes in the USA
The US universities offer three intakes that are fall, spring, and summer intake, in which most of the students apply for fall intake which is offered by all the universities in the USA. Whereas summer and spring intakes are not offered by all the universities and the number of options in these intakes is limited. The deadlines for application are different in each university, so the application availability of a particular university needs to be seen before starting the process. The student should start their application 8-9 months before the intake starts, as they need to attend the English proficiency test, get all the documents done, check for different universities and programs, and send through their application and universities will take 1 to 2 months to process the application, students should prepare all the funding documents before attending for visa interview. Information about the intakes, starting month, and deadlines are as mentioned below
Fall Intake
Fall intake begins in august, and the first semester of this intake ends in December. This intake is considered the starting of academics and all the scholarships are available for this intake, that’s the reason most of the students tend to apply for fall intake. In fall intake all the courses are available and all universities are open for this intake so students have a huge number of options based on their requirements. Students applying for fall intake have many part-time jobs option on-campus, they also have options to apply for internship programs and get into social groups. Fall intake students also have the benefit of attending placement drives conducted at the end of the academic year in most universities.

Spring Intake
Spring intake starts in January, and the first semester of this intake ends in April. This intake starts in the middle of the academic year due to which it has fewer scholarship options because most of the grants are given to the students in the fall intake itself, even though few universities provide grants to students applying in spring intake as well. Limited universities are open for spring intake and with fewer course options, which makes students have lesser options to apply. It is opening for major courses like computer science, data science, and all other popular courses but with limited university options. In spring intake part-time job options on-campus are not available and internship options in industries become very limited, most of the student groups have already formed at the beginning, so less probability of joining the group with a leadership position. Since the companies also met the requirements of employees from fall intake because of that we have limited job options for spring intake students.
Summer Intake
Summer intake starts in May, and the first semester of this intake ends in August. In this intake, the USA has fewer university options, and most of the courses opened will be in languages or liberal art kind of programs. The student will have the lesser option and cannot opt for the desired program. Students can find part-time job options outside the campus but on-campus jobs are at scares, and scholarships are not available for this intake. The job options after completing the course are very limited. Most of the students do not choose this intake because visa acceptance chances are also lesser for this intake.
